IntelliPDF STAT Plug-In's FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS (F.A.Q.)
Does IntelliPDF STAT 1.0 work with Adobe™ Acrobat™ earlier than 5.0?
No.
Do you support the MAC platform?
Not at this time.
I have installed IntelliPDF STAT, but the toolbar is not appearing
in Acrobat Reader 5.0. How do I make it appear?
The most likely reason this is occurring is because, as a default,
Acrobat Reader 5.0 is configured not to load uncertified plug-ins.
To allow the IntelliPDF STAT plug-in to appear, you must follow the
instructions below:
(1) Open Adobe Acrobat Reader.
(2) Click Edit, then Preferences and select "Options" in the dialog box that appears.
(3) Un-check the "Certified Plug-ins Only" box.
(4) Close Adobe Acrobat Reader.
Also the installation of IntelliPDF STAT plug-in failed.
Please re-install IntelliPDF STAT.
You might have selected the wrong folder path while installing the Plug_in.
In most cases the Plug_ins folder for the full version of Adobe Acrobat
is located under "C:\Program Files\Adobe\Acrobat 5.0\Acrobat\Plug_ins" folder
and "C:\Program Files\Adobe\Acrobat 5.0\Reader\plug_ins" for Acrobat Reader.
To find the correct path you can right click on the icon which is associated
with your Acrobat application, select the Properties option, select
the Shortcut Tab and under Target field you will see the correct path.
IntelliPDF STAT appears under Plug-in's Menu Ghosted.
You should open a PDF Document, before accessing IntelliPDF STAT plug-in.
I opened a file and the problem persists (still "Ghosted"), what are my other options?
You might have an encrypted file. The Plug-in does not work with documents
that have 40-bit encryption level, and have the "No Content copying or Extraction,
Disable Accessibility" option checked. The same applies for the 128-bit Encryption
Level when the "Allow Content Copying and Extraction" is unchecked.
